Azerbaijan imported 691,202 mobile phones and other mobile devices worth $60.168 million in January-November 2017, the country’s State Statistics Committee told Trend Jan. 15.
The number of mobile phones imported by the country increased by 86.2 percent in January-November 2017 as compared to the same period of 2016.
Azerbaijan imported 371,100 mobile phones in January-November 2016. In terms of value, the figure also increased by 78.5 percent.
On average, more than 62,800 mobile devices have been imported into the country monthly since early 2017.
