BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. The value of services provided by information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan increased from January through September 2024 year on year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this figure equaled 2.55 billion manat ($1.5 billion), up 12.3 percent.
Meanwhile, 73.4 percent of these services were rendered to the population.
During the reporting period, revenues from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 908.9 million manat or $534.65 million (35.6 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market).
To note, by the end of 2023, information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth 3.2 billion manat or $1.8 billion (16.3 percent growth).
