BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Economy and Commerce has released an update on the average food prices throughout the country, Trend reports citing the Ministry's press service.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan underlined that prices of vegetable oil across the country tend to decrease.
"In early September, an average price of vegetable oil was 158 soms ($1.89) per 1 liter, and in early October of this year, the average price is 155.4 soms ($1.86) per 1 liter," the ministry said.
To date, an average price of sugar in Kyrgyzstan is 88.3 soms ($1.05) per 1 kg, meanwhile, the first grade flour can be purchased in Kyrgyzstan at a price of 43.5 soms ($0.52) per 1 kg.
Notably, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, as of October 12, is 83.3KGS/1USD.
