BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has published a forecast for Turkmenistan's GDP growth for 2022-2023, Trend reports citing IMF's World Economic Outlook.
According to the report, Turkmenistan's GDP growth in 2022 is estimated at 1.2 percent, and in 2023 it will be 2.3 percent.
At the same time, the IMF forecasts consumer price inflation in Turkmenistan at 17.5 percent this year and 10.5 percent next year.
Meanwhile, according to the IMF report, Turkmenistan's GDP growth in 2021 was 4.6 percent, and consumer price inflation was 15 percent.
