BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The volume of the harvested potato crop Zehin Achary farmers association located in the Dashoguz region in the north of Turkmenistan has been published, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
This season, 7,000 tons of potatoes were harvested from 512 hectares of land on farms. The potato harvesting plan was exceeded by 20 percent.
The fields freed from potatoes were sown with late varieties of carrots and onions. In addition to this, another 100 hectares of onions and 20 hectares of garlic were sown in the association.
Furthermore, the association received an average of 25 tons of tomatoes and spring onions from each hectare this year.
