BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. The bilateral trade between Turkmenistan and Germany surpassed 187.62 million euros from January through November of last year, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
These statistics show a decrease of 12.6 percent compared to the turnover recorded for the corresponding period of 2022, which amounted to 214.72 million euros.
The value of Turkmenistan's exports to Germany from January through November 2023 amounted to almost 5.04 million euros, which indicates a significant decrease of 6.3 times compared to the corresponding months of 2022, during which it reached 31.97 million euros.
At the same time, Turkmenistan experienced an imperceptible decrease in imports from Germany during the first eleven months of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, amounting to 182.58 million euros compared to 182.75 million euros.
Meanwhile, the trade volume between Turkmenistan and Germany during 2022 reached 241.3 million euros, marking a substantial surge of 32 percent compared to the trade volume in 2021, which stood at 182.74 million euros.
