ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 10. Turkmenistan is among the ten countries with the lowest RON-95 gasoline prices as of October 7, 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the Global Petrol Prices portal shows that gasoline in Turkmenistan costs $0.428 per liter, which puts Turkmenistan in eighth place among the countries with the most affordable gasoline prices.
Iran tops the list with a price of $0.029 per liter.
Moreover, the list of countries with the lowest gasoline prices also includes Malaysia, Nigeria, Algeria, Kuwait, Angola, Egypt, Venezuela, and Libya.
In turn, the highest gasoline prices are recorded in such countries as Israel, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Barbados, Denmark, Iceland, Monaco, and Hong Kong. The highest price is seen in Hong Kong at $3.282 per liter.
The average price of RON-95 gasoline in the world is $1.27 per liter as of October 7, 2024. Fluctuations in gasoline prices are largely due to differences in national fuel taxation structures and subsidy policies.
