TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 21. Uzbekistan’s trade turnover of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $2 billion from January through May 2024, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure has increased by 42.8 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.4 billion in January–May 2023).
The volume of exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials from Uzbekistan amounted to $344.8 million from January through May 2024, which indicates a 7.2 percent growth year-on-year ($321.5 million in January–May 2023).
Uzbekistan’s imports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials reached $1.7 billion during this period. This figure indicates a 54.5 percent increase over the year ($1.1 billion in January–May 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and equivalent materials trade turnover totaled $10.4 billion from 2020 through 2023.
The country’s mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials trade turnover reached $3.6 billion in 2023. This sum is up 28.5 percent over the previous year ($2.8 billion in 2022).
The trade turnover for mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials was $2.3 billion in 2021 and $1.7 billion in 2020.
