TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 21. Uzbekistan produced 948,900 tons of diesel fuel in 2024.

The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency shows that this figure has decreased by 6 percent compared to the same period last year (1.01 million tons in 2023).

In addition, diesel fuel production in the country reached 36,500 in December 2024, compared to 53,600 tons in November 2024.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s Saneg (the largest private oil and gas company) opened a new terminal at SEG TASCO (a subsidiary of Saneg) in Fergana.

The newly established terminal was designed to execute several state mandates.

The project carried out construction and repair work worth more than 15 billion soums ($1.1 million), ensuring a round-the-clock supply of various types of gasoline and diesel fuel. The loading and clearance process was reduced from one day to one hour.
