Although the date of the parliamentary elections-2012 in Georgia has not been named, some opposition parties said that they will begin an active pre-election campaign in September.

"Free Democrats" leader Irakli Alasania holds active meetings with population.

He is also is a leader of the political coalition - the so-called "six". Besides his party, the Republican Party, the National Forum, the People's Party, the Conservative Party and "Georgia's Way" are also included.

"Voice of America" reported that Alasania returned from the U.S in July. He has already visited Shida Kartli, Guria and Samegrelo. He told Samegrelo residents that Minister of Agriculture Bakur Kvezereli must be dismissed. Alasania promised voters to start an active campaign from September.

"I visited Shida Kartli, Guria and Samegrelo," he said. "The main problem there is unemployment. About 70 percent are unemployed."

"We are ready and even agreed with professional groups, non-governmental organizations on joint activity," he said. "It will be the partnership of political parties and civil society. Their purpose is to ensure every citizen's right to free choice."
