Albania recorded 22,102 deaths in 2024, marking an increase compared to the previous year, according to the country's Institute of Statistics. While natural causes remain the dominant reason for fatalities, notable shifts were observed across age groups, disease categories, and infant mortality rates — which saw a significant decline.
