BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 3. Rabitabank OJSC is currently developing its strategic plans for 2025-2027, Zakir Nuriyev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rabitabank OJSC and President of the Azerbaijan Banks Association, told reporters, Trend reports.
“Currently, Rabitabank is finalizing its budget for the year 2025 and is actively working on its strategic plans for 2025-2027. I believe we will make an official statement at the end of the month,” he said.
Nuriyev emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting projects in alternative energy and sustainability sectors.
“Our goal is to support both the retail sector and businesses focused on energy conservation and ecology. We are prepared to finance both private households and large companies. We are open to economic requests related to such projects. Everything will depend on the state of the economy, future initiatives, and new regulations that may be introduced. We expect significant changes in the economy, business, and agriculture following COP29, and we are ready to support them,” the official said.
Nuriyev also reminded that the bank had previously supported a project for a poultry farm to transition to solar power last year, and now a part of its energy needs is being met through solar energy.
“Now, part of its energy requirements is provided by solar power,” he added.
