Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec. 23 / Trend , N.Kirtzkhalia/ Large-scale normalization of relations between Georgia and Russia under the current conditions is out of the question, David Bakradze, the speaker of the Georgian Parliament, said at an extraordinary meeting of the parliament, when Levan Vepkhvadze, the vice-speaker, demanded explanation in connection with an article published in Kommersant newspaper.
In accordance with the published article, there is a definite contact between Tbilisi and Moscow, which target to restore diplomatic relations. "Reality degree of these contacts is interesting for us and we want to know whether restoration of relations will be realized at expense of Georgia's national interests," Vepkhvadze said.
He reminded earlier article publish in Kommersant newspaper on Gali-Ochamchire plan, as well. At that time, leadership of Georgia officially denied this information. However, later, it was revealed that this plan existed.
