Two-day training on Factor of monitoring over the protection of strategic assets in the sea for the officers of Azerbaijani Navy began on Wednesday, the Defense Ministry said.
The training is conducted by mobile training team of NATO Navy Component Commands at Naples.
The training will discuss such topics as the structure, guidelines, operations carried out by NATO naval command in Naples, protection against attacks from the air into the sea, the role of surface and subsurface elements, communications, rules of engagement at sea, etc.
