On November 10, the first gas was produced from Shah Deniz field. On November 10, the participants of the Shah Deniz project delivered nearly 2 mln cu.m of gas debts. This volume is planned to be increased up to 5,6 mln cu.m on November 11, Trend reports with reference to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

It was said at SOCAR that the blue fuel is returned to Azerbaijan for covering the debts created at the time of filling of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipe at the expense of the associated gas produced from the fields Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli.

Shah Deniz project participants will continue paying back the debt, after which the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas carriage is not excluded.

According to the information provided by the Press-Center of BP Azerbaijan Company, on November 10, the clean-up of the first exploitation well began with the help of the gas obtained from Shah Deniz field. The gas is delivered to the Sangachal terminal to complete the balance and commission work, and put the gas installations into exploitation, within the framework of Shah Deniz project. Right after this, the production from the well will be stopped to connect the discharge lines to the production platform. As a result, the same work is planned to be implemented in the second well.

Thus, by the end of the year we will gain two ready exploitation wells at Shah Deniz field, stated the BP Azerbaijan Company.
