As part of the Big Easy Film Festivals, the United States will be show a documentary on the Azerbaijani Mugham - "Mugham in Montana" on Nov. 14, the festival released.
The film was directed by Professor University of Montana (USA), a famous American political scientist and journalist Thomas Goltz.
This film details the exhausting cross-cultural, musical road trip of the Qadim Sharq) Quartet from Azerbaijan across the Big Sky State, from Billings to Bozeman and finally Missoula, where the group is joined by famed American mugham specialist Jeffery Werbock for a final concert/jam session.
It is expected to show 48 films as part of the festival.
