BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. The financial facilitation of the information and communication sector in Azerbaijan, as executed by domestic banking institutions, culminated in a total disbursement of 641.1 million manat (equivalent to $376.53 million) by the conclusion of February in the current fiscal year.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan reflects this figure's growth by 17.4 million manat ($10.24 million) or 2.8 percent compared to the end of the previous month (623.7 million manat or $367.47 million).
To note, the aggregate business loan portfolio of financial institutions operating within the jurisdiction of Azerbaijan reached 14.8 billion manat (equivalent to $8.7 billion) as of the conclusion of February, reflecting a marginal uptick of 0.5 percent, or 68 million manat ($40 million), relative to the preceding month’s figures of 14.7 billion manat (or $8.6 billion).
