BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Azerbaijan's domestic public debt amounted to 18 billion manat ($10.6 billion), making up 13.8 percent of predicted GDP for 2025 as of April 1 of this year.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's Ministry of Finance shows this figure's decrease by 658.4 million manat ($389 million) compared to January 1, 2025.
As of the reporting date, 8.8 billion manat ($5.2 billion) of the domestic public debt accounted for government securities in circulation, and 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion) - state-guaranteed obligations undertaken by the government.
