ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 5. Kazakhstan will fully provide agricultural producers with domestically produced fertilizers by 2030, said Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Yersaiyn Nagaspayev at a Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Trend reports.
According to Nagaspayev, one of the strategic priorities until
2030 is to fully supply Kazakhstani farmers with key types of
fertilizers through domestic production.
"Due to the reconstruction and new projects, the total volume of
fertilizers will be increased to 4 million tons by 2030," the
minister noted.
At the same time, the production of new types of fertilizers, such
as urea, potassium chloride, and dicalcium phosphate, is
planned.
Today, a government meeting is being held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov. The agenda includes the development of the chemical and petrochemical industries in the country.
