BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Zolotaya Korona reaffirmed its position as the leading money transfer system in Kazakhstan this April, according to data from the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
The service handled an impressive 125,930 transactions, capturing 87.5% of the total number of outbound transfers. In terms of value, it accounted for 47.17 billion tenge ($92.7 million), or 82.1% of the total amount sent abroad via money transfer systems.
This substantial market share underscores the platform’s entrenched presence in Kazakhstan’s financial landscape, where it continues to be the preferred choice for both the frequency and value of remittances.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's residents sent 144,000 transactions abroad via money transfer systems (MTS) in April 2025, amounting to a total of 57.4 billion tenge (approximately $113 million).
The broader market saw a notable uptick, with total outbound transfers increasing by 5.3% in number and 21.4% in value compared to March 2025. Zolotaya Korona’s dominant position suggests that it likely contributed the most to this monthly surge.
