ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 6. A major deal for the purchase of raw fabric worth $660,000 was concluded by Kyrgyz entrepreneurs on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), Trend reports via SCRMET.
The transaction was carried out during Wednesday’s trading session on the external market, involving Turkmen and Kyrgyz business representatives. The agreement highlights the increasing demand for Turkmen textile products and the growing trade ties between the two countries.
The SCRMET serves as Turkmenistan’s main platform for foreign trade in commodities, offering regular auctions for petroleum products, textiles, agricultural goods, and chemical products. It plays a key role in facilitating transparent and competitive trading procedures for both domestic producers and international buyers.
