Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 July / Trend / Director of Economic Management and Poverty Reduction Sector of the World Bank (WB) Luca Burbony discussed in Baku on 4 July with Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev the Economic Memorandum on Analysis of Economic Situation in Azerbaijan being developed by WB.
During the meeting Burbony inquired about the reforms being carried out, country's current economic problems and budget expenditures.
Babayev highly appreciated the Memorandum being developed by WB and noted its role in development of country's cooperation with the bank.
Minister said growth of country's budget expenditures affects inflation, but given into consideration the high economic growth, the level is not high.
According to Minister, all that happens due to strict control over economic instruments and implementation of efficient monetary policy.
