Azerbaijan, Baku, April 19 / Trend U.Ismayilova /
The third stage of certification of appraisers in Azerbaijan will be held April 21, coordinator of the Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers Amil Ismayilov said.
"The courses for the participants of certification will be held April 19 and 20," Ismayilov said.
He said that experts of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Russian Society of Appraisers (RSA) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) will participate in the process of certification of appraisers, as observers.
Ismayilov said that 20 appraisers will attend the courses. About 10 will be admitted to examinations.
Examinations will be conducted by seven evaluators, who were certified in the first and second phases of certification.
The first phase of certification of appraisers in Azerbaijan was held in March 2009. Three appraisers were certified. Four appraisers were certified within the second phase in June last year.
Assessment activity in Azerbaijan is certificated as a part of IFC's program to develop a mortgage in Azerbaijan and Central Asia, together with the international center for evaluation and the Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers.
IFC consultant Igor Artemenkov and RSA Qualification Commission deputy chairman Hamid Mammadjanov were the examiners at the first two phases of certification.
Evaluation activity in Azerbaijan is governed by the law "Valuation activity" adopted in 1995.
