The delivery of AI-95 petrol to Kyrgyzstan through Kazakhstan has been put on hold due to the terrorist attack in Taraz, head of public relations at Gazprom Neft Asia, Arzymat Aldayarov told KirTAG on Wednesday.

"There has been no AI-95 petrol at some Gazprom Neft Asia filling stations since yesterday," he said. "The cause of the shortage is down to a delay on the Kazakh border through the Taraz checkpoint due to the terror attack there." He said the tanks with fuel are on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border now.

Seven people including five policemen were killed as a result of fire and an explosion in the city of Taraz, south Kazakhstan on Nov. 12.

He added that the issue of the AI-95 petrol supply has now been settled and service will be resumed in the near future.
