The Azerbaijani insurance companies wrote out 1,029 million contracts by types, covered by the law on "Mandatory types of insurance" in 2013, the Compulsory Insurance Bureau said on Tuesday.
The law regulates the kinds of insurance of vehicle owners' (liability, property insurance, real estate and passenger insurance). Only companies within the bureau may deal with these kinds.
The bureau participants are 12 companies - Pasa Sıgorta, Atesgah Sıgorta Sirketi, Standard Insurance Sıgorta Sirketi, AtaSıgorta, Xalq Sıgorta, AXA MBASK Sıgorta Sirketi, Azsıgorta, Alfa Sıgorta, Azersıgorta state commercial insurance company, Meqa Sıgorta, İpek Yolu Sıgorta and Azerbaycan Senaye Sıgorta.
In total, they collected the premiums worth 82.69 million manat with four kinds of insurance.
