The value added tax on goods of Kazakhstan’s manufacturing have decreased by 11 percent in 2020, Chairman of State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance Marat Sultangaziev said, Trend reports citing Kazakh media.
Sultangaziev noted that the corporate income tax receipts of enterprises increased by 3.5 percent, the value added tax from the Eurasian Economic Union increased by 2 percent, and taxes from the payroll increased by 5.3 percent.
Furthermore, customs duties of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union decreased by 5.8 percent, export duties on oil and oil products dropped by 51 percent, value added tax from third countries went down by 3.7 percent.
The revenues from mining were down 43 percent due to lower oil and metal prices. At the same time, revenues in the transport sector increased by 10 percent, in the manufacturing industry by 9 percent, in construction by 2 percent and in trade by 1.4 percent.
