State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan was granted permission to establish the closed Joint Stock Company Türkmen maýa goýum kompaniýasy with Abu Dhabi Development Fund (ADDF), Trend reported citing Business Turkmenistan.
This decision was made on December 17 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system.
As the founder of the joint-stock company, the Bank gets equity participation in the amount of 50 percent of the share capital.
Speaking at the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of attracting capital investments from the largest business structures of foreign countries and authoritative international financial organizations for the implementation of new projects of national and regional significance.
Türkmen maýa goýum kompaniýasy will be established in accordance with the agreement signed between Turkmenistan's State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs and the Abu Dhabi Development Fund on October 9, 2021, during the working visit of a Turkmen delegation to the United Arab Emirates.
