The Iran's Shazand (Imam Khomeini) Oil Refining Company has produced 108 million liters of fuel for ships from the beginning of current Iranian year (March 20, 2020) to date on August 11, executive director of Shazand Oil Refining Company Gholamhossein Ramazanpour said, Trend reports citing the company.
Ramazanpour emphasized that Shazand is the only company in Iran that produces fuel for ships.
The director added that the company produced 1.17 billion liters of gasoline in accordance with the Euro 4 standard in the current Iranian year. Most of it was sent for consumption in Tehran, Alborz and Markazi provinces.
"In addition, more than 17 million liters of gasoline (RON-94 and RON-95) were produced and sent to various provinces of Iran," he said.
Ramazanpour noted that Shazand Oil Refining Company produces 12.5 million liters of gasoline per day in accordance with the Euro 4 standard.
According to him, the company processes 250,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
The Shazand (Imam Khomeini) Oil Refining Company was launched in 1993 with the capacity to process 150,000 barrels of oil per day. The company currently processes more than 250,000 barrels of oil.
It also produces more than 17 million liters of gasoline and 12 million liters of diesel in accordance with the Euro 4 standard as well as 500 tons of propylene, 400 tons of granular sulfur and 2,000 tons of liquefied gas per day.
Iran's Shazand Oil Refining Company produced 3.8 billion liters of diesel and 136,000 tons of sulfur in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).
