PremiumSOCAR Closed Tender for Sale of Two Consignments of Oil from Ceyhan Port

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed the tender for the dispatch of two consignments of its own Azeri Light oil from the Turkish Port of Ceyhan, which is delivered via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, Trend reports quoting SOCAR.

The volume of the consignment totals 1.2 mln barrels (164,000 tons). The bid was won by ADDAX BV Company (Switzerland) and Sumato Energy Group (New Zealand). The dispatch is scheduled for ADDAX on 12-14 December and Sumato Energy on15-17 December. Each batch will total 600,000 barrels.

The oil consignment from Ceyhan has been purchased by the companies Satatoil August (1 mln barrels), Arcadia September (600,000 barrels); Select Energy GmbH November (1 mln barrels); Glencore Energy UK Ltd December (600,000 barrels); Select Energy GmbH December (600,000 barrels); Addax BV December (600,000 barrels); Sumato Energy Group December (600,000 barrels).
