Azercell Offers its Postpaid Subscribers New Service - Azercell DataKart

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / As of 27 July 2007, Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator Azercell offers its postpaid subscribers a new service - Azercell DataKart. With the help of this service subscribers will be connected to the web, their mailboxes and their company networks via GPRS/EDGE.

Moreover, from 27 July to 31 December, Azercell DataKart packages are being offered at a 50% discount.

The DataKart application incorporates a powerful SMS editor and a viewer for reading SMS messages, for sending and receiving SMS messages. Incoming and outgoing messages are listed in Outlook style directories.

The package may be acquired through applying to "Akhundoff" company, 3/6 S.Rustamov Str., Baku and by filling out a subscription form. Packages include an SIM-card, a PCMCIA datacard, and a CD-Rom (with software).

In the case that the GPRS/EDGE service is not being connected to one of the Azercell DataKart tariff packages specified in the table, standard package tariffs will be applied 10 KB = 0.01. Prices are VAT exclusive. The minimum charge is at 10 KB for all service packages.

In the case of using MesajCELL and other SMS-based services the standard packages tariffs will be applied.

Any GPRS traffic not used cannot be transferred to the next month.

The service is only for Azercell postpaid subscribers. Incoming/outgoing calls and SMS service is not available for subscribers using a datacard. The discounted tariffs are applicable only within the country. In case GPRS is used abroad the GPRS-roaming tariffs will be applied.

Transferring from an Azercell DataKart tariff package to another one and vice-versa can be done only upon the completion of the current billing period. To change tariff packages apply to Azercell Customer Care.

The PCMCIA datacard comes with a "phone lock" feature. The datacard will support 3G and other high speed internet technologies that will be applied in the future.

A tariff change via 650CELL will not be available.
