Kazakhstan's second-tier banks received total revenue of 27.3 trillion tenges (348.96 tenges/$1 on Feb. 25) in 2015, Ranking.kz analytical service reported Feb. 25.
Total expenses of banks (before payment of income tax) were about 27 trillion tenges in 2015.
Both figures exceed those for 2014 by almost threefold.
Banks' revenues from core operations (related to obtaining remuneration) steadily grow since 2011. Expenses related to remuneration payments also grew during the last three years.
In 2015, these figures were 1.7 trillion and 824 billion tenges, respectively.
