DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 31. Tajikistan produced 1,956 tons of mazut from January through July 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistical Agency shows that compared with the same period in 2024 (3,023 tons), mazut production fell by 35.3 percent.
Meanwhile, the country’s total oil production came in at 10,647 tons, climbing up 20.5 percent from 8,835 tons during January-July 2024.
Overall, Tajikistan’s industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs produced goods worth 34.894 billion somoni ($3.6 billion) from January through July 2025, marking a 24.5 percent increase compared with the same period last year.
Extractive output surged 1.7 times, and manufacturing rose by 6 percent, while electricity, gas, steam production, and air purification grew by 12.7 percent. Water supply, waste management, and recycling also saw a notable increase of 15.2 percent.
