ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 28. Turkmenistan has registered 138 investment projects worth more than $5 billion with the participation of UAE enterprises as of March 1, 2024, Trend reports.
This was stated by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mergen Gurdov at the Turkmen-Emirati Business Forum held in Ashgabat city.
Noting the role of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in establishing and executing these opportunities, fostering domestic entrepreneurship, and boosting exports, Gurdov emphasized the significance of congress and exhibition activities and invited Emirati partners to take part in the forthcoming major events of this plan in Ashgabat.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan and the UAE are enhancing their trade and economic cooperation through various initiatives, including the active promotion of mutual investments, the expansion of trade in diverse goods and services, and collaborative projects in energy, infrastructure, and digitalization.
Both nations aim to bolster partnerships that foster sustainable economic growth and cooperation within the scope of international economic initiatives and organizations.
