BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. The value of retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan from January through September 2022 amounted to 214 trillion soums ($19.2 billion), which is an increase of 110.8 percent compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, the retail trade turnover per capita amounted to 6 million soums ($541).
From January through September 2022, the retail trade turnover of large enterprises in the country amounted to 46.3 trillion soums ($4.2 billion), while the retail trade turnover of small businesses – was 167.7 trillion soums ($15 billion).
In the structure of the country's retail trade turnover, a significant share fell on Tashkent city, amounting to 25.5 percent, or 54.6 trillion soums ($4.9 billion).
The smallest share at the level of 1.5 percent, or 3.3 trillion soums ($293.3 million) fell in the Syrdarya region.
