TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 16. Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. will develop a roadmap for the construction of a battery plant with a capacity of 1 GW in Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
This was revealed during a meeting between Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) and Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.
The AMMC provided the representatives of Huawei with detailed information about the technological production chain.
During the meeting, a presentation on Huawei's activities was delivered.
The parties reached agreements in several directions. In particular, Huawei agreed to prepare a detailed presentation and information on their advanced technologies for the AMMC specialists' study.
In addition, a working group will be formed by Huawei specialists to explore the possibilities of implementing artificial intelligence in the company's technological processes.
On August 14-15, during the AMMC Business Forum held in Beijing, the combine signed cooperation agreements with several Chinese companies. Within the framework of the forum, the AMMC held negotiations with Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., leading to a preliminary agreement on strategic partnership.
