The Iranian president has, in separate meetings, received two new ambassadors to Tehran, discussing with them mutual relations as well as the latest international developments, Press TV reported.
In a meeting with new North Korean Ambassador to Iran Jo In Chol, the president said domineering powers seek their interests in creating tension among nations, the President's website reported on Tuesday.
President Ahmadinejad underscored the future world will owe its peace and security to the resistance of nations which are standing up to arrogant powers today.
The president also touched upon the recent developments in relations between the two Koreas, and urged Korean authorities to remain vigilant against enemy plots.
President Ahmadinejad also urged US statesmen to give up their provocative moves and pull their troops out of the Korean Peninsula, thus allowing Pyongyang and Seoul to settle their issues themselves.
The president also expressed satisfaction over flourishing Tehran-Pyongyang relations, and said the sky is the limit when it comes to promotion of reciprocal ties.
Earlier in the day, President Ahmadinejad sat down with new Irish Ambassador to Tehran Oliver Grogan where the Iranian official underscored that the two countries can help establish a new world order.
"Unilateral, discriminatory and unfair structures have catalyzed the collapse of the ruling system in the world", said the president.
President Ahmadinejad underlined biased and unilateral approaches impede the establishment of justice and security in the world, adding independent and freedom-seeking nations such as Iran and Ireland play a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for a new global system.
He also said enhancement of Iran-Ireland relations will serve the interests of both nations.
In the meetings, the two top diplomats submitted their credentials to President Ahmadinejad.
