BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. Production facilities in Iran's East Azerbaijan province were granted loans worth 3.36 trillion rials (about $7.43 million) during six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), Abdolhamid Sartipi, head of the province's Industrial, Mining and Commercial Organization, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, the mentioned amount of credit was given to 48 enterprises operating in the province.
Sartipi said that most newly created enterprises in the province use bank loans to continue their activities.
The official pointed out that reliable financial methods should be used to eliminate the problems of production enterprises in the province.
It's of great importance for production enterprises to familiarize themselves with new financing methods and show interest in benefiting from these methods, he added.
To note, 4,500 production facilities operate in the East Azerbaijan province.
