Additional funds allocated to restore houses destroyed during Armenian aggression in Horadiz
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on additional measures to restore the houses destroyed during the Armenian aggression in Horadiz.
According to the decree, the extensive construction and reconstruction operations were conducted in 22 settlements of Fizuli region liberated from Armenian aggression in January 1994. Around 16 new settlements for about 4,300 families, 13 secondary schools, 13 buildings for kindergartens, two hospitals, 10 health centers were built.
Most of 1,565 houses burned and destroyed in Horadiz city were restored and delivered to the residents. Gas and electric lines were laid. Other important infrastructure projects were implemented.
As a result of the measures, around 70,000 people of 120,000 people who have settled in various regions of the country, including 6,000 Horadiz inhabitants returned home.
Taking into account the special importance of continuing the work in this area and the importance of creating the necessary conditions to return the inhabitants of the burned, destroyed houses to their lands and to restore three apartment buildings and 227 houses in Horadiz city, where 341 families, consisting of 1,398 members previously lived, the president decided to allocate 6 million manat envisaged in the state budget-2013 to the Fizuli executive power from the presidential reserve fund.
The Ministry of Finance was charged to ensure funding envisaged by the order.
