The Georgian Parliament has renamed the Control Chamber into the State Audit Service. The decision has been made by Parliament today, which amended the Constitution.
It was originally planned to rename the Control Chamber into the Supreme Chamber of Audit and Financial Transparency. But taking into account the experience of 40 European countries, a decision was made to call the Chamber as the State Audit Service.
