The party's congress was held at the headquarters of the Umid opposition party on Wednesday.
Umid party chairman Iqbal Aghazade's report was heard.
Aghazade was re-elected chairman of the party at the congress. Moreover, his candidacy was officially nominated to participate in the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
The CEC decided to hold the presidential elections in Azerbaijan on October 9.
