Azerbaijan's Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov will visit Pakistan in December to discuss the prospects for military technical cooperation between the two countries, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov told Trend on Oct.21.
During the visit, there will be exchange of views on the military political situation in the regions where the two countries are located, as well as the issues of security and cooperation in fighting against threats.
The date of the visit will be later specified through diplomatic channels.
Azerbaijan and Pakistan successfully cooperate in the military technical sphere. A Pakistani delegation led by the Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt visited Azerbaijan in April and discussed military technical cooperation and the prospects for bilateral partnership.
