BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Changes are expected in Azerbaijan on two types of insurance – OSAGO [compulsory insurance of civil and legal liability of vehicle owners] and compulsory insurance of real estate, insurance expert Kamran Babayev told Trend.
According to him, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has prepared a new project on OSAGO.
"The project was recently discussed with insurance companies and is currently under discussion. Its implementation will fundamentally change the approach to OSAGO," Babayev said.
He also noted that insurance companies hope that the work on digitalization and automation of compulsory real estate insurance will be completed soon.
