BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. Türkiye increased exports of ready-made clothing to Uzbekistan by 54.2 percent ($22.8 million) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, Türkiye's Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
Comparing July 2023 to the same month in 2022, ready-made garment exports from Türkiye to Uzbekistan fell by 97.7% and totaled $3.7 million.
Additionally, from January through July 2023, Turkish exports of ready-made clothes fell by 7% and totaled $11.5 billion.
In July 2023, Türkiye shipped ready-made apparel worth $1.6 billion, which is 3.9% less than in July 2022.
Türkiye shipped ready-to-wear items totaling $20.3 billion over the course of the previous 12 months (from July 2022 to July 2023).
