BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The number of labor contracts in Azerbaijan has surpassed 1.841 million as of August 1, 2024, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, this represents a whopping increase of 439,564 contracts since the crack of dawn in 2019.
In the non-oil private sector, labor contracts rose by 428,791, reaching over 968,713.
For comparison, as of January 1, 2024, Azerbaijan had 1.808 million labor contracts.
