ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 15. Over the year (2024), trading volume in the KASE Global sector increased by 10 billion tenge (approximately $19.00 million), according to data from the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, Trend reports.
By the end of 2024, trading volume in the "KASE Global" sector amounted to 46.6 billion tenge, which is approximately $88.74 million—an increase of 27.5 percent, or 10.0 billion tenge (about $19.00 million) compared to 2023. The average daily trading volume was 187.1 million tenge (approximately $355,490 USD), the average daily number of transactions was 497, and the average transaction size was 376.5 thousand tenge (about $714.35 USD).
The most traded securities on "KASE Global" in 2024 were the following stocks and ETFs (exchange-traded funds):
ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO_KZ) – 13,177 transactions totaling 3.0 billion tenge (approximately $5.70 million); Intel Corporation (INTC_KZ) – 13,067 transactions totaling 1.9 billion tenge (approximately $3.61 million); NVIDIA Corp.
