BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 24. As many as 13,900 tons of steel pipes were produced in Azerbaijan in January 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this is 10,300 tons or 3.9 times more than in the same period of 2024.
As of February 1 this year, stocks of finished products totaled 3,700 tons.
Azerbaijan's metallurgical industry and production of finished metal products in January 2025 produced products worth 100 million manat.
Compared to the same month of last year, 26.2 percent growth was registered in the production of finished metal products, and a 4.2 percent decrease in the production of metallurgical industry products.
The production of aluminum products in the metallurgical industry decreased by 13.6 percent while the production of metal structures in the field of finished metal products increased by 52.4 percent and the production of uninsulated stranded wires, cables, and similar products increased by 32.5 percent in January 2025.
