BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Azerbaijan exported 24,000 tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks to Türkiye from January through March 2025.

Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that revenue from the export of this volume of products amounted to $12 million.

In the first quarter of this year, export volume of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous minerals to Türkiye decreased by 90,000 tons (4.8 times) and the value - by $49.8 million (5.2 times) compared to the same period of 2024 (114,000 tons, valued at $61.8 million).

The total volume of crude oil and crude oil products from bituminous rocks exported from Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2025 was six million tons, and the value exceeded $3.3 billion.

The volume decreased by 411,000 tons (7.3 percent) and the value by $153 million (4.4 percent) compared to the same period last year (5.6 million tons, worth $3.49 billion).
