BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22. Fixed capital in Azerbaijan's transport and warehousing sector saw investments amounting to 659.4 million manat ($387.9 million) from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure decreased by 46.2 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, the value of investments in fixed capital in the country's transport sector alone amounted to 657.7 million manat ($386.9 million), which is a 46.3 percent decrease compared to the first three months of 2024.
The share of investments in fixed capital in this sector accounted for 18.9 percent.
In the first quarter of this year, a total of 3.5 billion manat ($2.07 billion) was invested in fixed capital, which is 10.1 percent less compared to the same period of the previous year.
Investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 24.2 percent, while investments in the non-oil and gas sector declined by 2.4 percent.
