Turkmenistan’s Dost Gurlusyk Sowda, Onumcilik company will construct drinking water, irrigation, sewerage, rainwater and flood water drainage, as well as a rain removal systems for the new administrative center of the country's Akhal region, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.
The two-stage project is slated to begin soon, and the first stage is set for completion sometime in September 2021, while the second stage in December of 2022.
The company's founder Nurmukhammet Meredov said that all the tasks will be completed successfully.
The construction of the water management system is part of a bigger project, which includes the construction work on the administrative center itself. The overall construction started in August 2019. Buildings and facilities will be fully commissioned in September 2021.
Some $1.5 billion has been allocated for the construction of the administrative center.
The construction of the roads leading to the center are also being built. Ojar Aziya company is handling the construction.
According to the Deputy Director of Ojar Aziya company, Rahimberdi Sejidov, the project of the new control center was developed on the basis of the latest world practices and innovative technologies, and the construction of roads is carried out at a high level.
