Brazilian economic delegation due in Tehran

A delegation of 100 businesspersons and industrialists, headed by Brazilian Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Miguel Jorge, will arrive in Tehran tomorrow.

During his two-day visit, Jorge will hold meetings with Iranian Industries and Mines Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian and some other officials, IRNA News Agency reported.

The Brazilian delegation is consisted of high-ranking officials of economy and banking sectors as well as managers of large companies in mining, energy, housing, petrochemical, food, agriculture and technological industries.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is also planning to pay an official visit to Tehran in May, Press TV reported.

Last month, Mir-Qassem Momeni, the head of Iran-Brazil Friendship Association, said economy will top President Lula's agenda during his visit to Iran.
